Aspen Art Museum

The Aspen Art Museum is a non-profit institution presenting the newest, most important evolutions in international contemporary art. Their innovative and timely exhibitions, education and public programs, immersive activities, and community happenings actively engage audiences in thought-provoking experiences of art, culture, and society.

Biking

Aspen Cycling Tours offers extensive options for road biking: from half-day rides, to multi-day excursions in the 10th Mountain Hut System, to rides over Independence Pass, and several “hidden secrets” down valley. They work to showcase the Aspen area on a road bike, whether as a training companion or as a guide leader.

In addition, there is excellent mountain biking! With more than 50 miles of trails throughout Aspen and Snowmass. Snowmass Mountain is covered with trails that cater to all levels and biking clinics are offered daily.

The Residences at the Little Nell also offers complimentary cruiser bikes on a first-come, first-served basis at the Front Drive.

The Aspen Golf Club is located two miles from downtown Aspen. With four sets of tees, the course accommodates all levels of play and is one of the longest municipal courses in the state. Additionally, we do offer tee times for our guests to golf at the private course at the Snowmass Club, please see the concierge about these options!

Fly Fishing

Aspen offers a number of spectacular hiking trails ranging from beginner to expert. Whether you are looking for a hike a few steps away from the Residences, or a hike that takes you all the way to Crested Butte, we have it here! Guided hikes are available as well.

Horseback Riding

Ride up through the breathtaking Aspen groves or the Snowmass wilderness and enjoy the beautiful views that surround you. From beginner to experienced riders, there are a number of trips available to suit your needs. Trip durations range from hourly to lunch and overnight trips.

Jeep Tours

A backcountry jeep tour is a delightful way to “get away from it all”. Sit back and enjoy a tour through Aspen’s stunning mountains. Travel where few people get to go in rugged but comfortable off-road vehicles. Enjoy the aromatic forests of aspen and pine as you climb to wildflower-carpeted high alpine meadows with views that seem to go on forever.

See the Maroon Bells

The Maroon Bells, surrounded by pristine National Forest lands, are the most photographed peaks in all of North America. Here you can explore the glacial valley while surrounded by 14,000-foot peaks. Maroon Lake is surrounded by fields of wildflowers and mirrors images of the peaks in its waters. From the bottom, you can venture on a 1-1.5 hour hike which ends at Crater Lake.

Aspen is known for its world-renowned selection of designer shops. See the sights of town while browsing Aspen’s best fine art, designer clothing, and mountain gear.

Top of Ajax Mountain

Ride the Silver Queen Gondola all the way to the top of Aspen Mountain. Once you are up there try out the disc golf, go for a short hike, participate in a yoga class and take photos of the fabulous views. You can have lunch at the Sundeck or pack a picnic.
